I’m David Denton, founder of 317 Restoration. I’m a Christian, a husband, a father, and a Stage 4 cancer survivor. This company is part of that story — and my name and reputation are attached to every roof we touch.
My story
What I’ve been through, and why it matters here.
First and foremost, I’m a Christian. My faith in Jesus Christ is a major part of who I am, how I try to live my life, and how I want this company to operate.
There was a point in my life when I was given an 11% chance of surviving cancer. Walking through that changed me. It strengthened my faith, changed my perspective on what really matters, and made me much more intentional about the kind of man, husband, father, and business owner I want to be.
I believe God gave me more time for a reason, and I don’t want to waste it. 317 is part of that story.
I want to build a company that honors God in the way we treat people, the way we conduct business, and the way we handle our responsibilities. That doesn’t mean we’re perfect. It means integrity, keeping our word, serving people well, taking responsibility when something needs corrected, and trying to do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Professionally, I’ve worked in roofing, exterior construction, sales, marketing, inspections, estimating, and project management. I started 317 because I wanted to build the kind of roofing company I would personally feel comfortable sending to my family, friends, church community, and neighbors.
Central Indiana is home. I’m not trying to build a faceless national roofing company. I want 317 to become one of the most trusted local roofing companies in Indianapolis and Central Indiana.
I want homeowners to know there are real people behind this company.
